Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd. is hiring a Care and Support Assistant to support residents at Elizabeth House, Stony Stratford. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week with no travel between calls and enhanced pay for evenings and weekends.

You will assist with daily tasks, promote wellbeing and help residents maintain independence in a comfortable on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year in a UK health and social care role preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.
• Caring, dependable and passionate about supporting older adults.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily domestic tasks (appointments, light cleaning, laundry, shopping).
• Assist with social activities and wellbeing routines.
• Promote independence, dignity and community engagement.
