Job summary

Hazelwood Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition. You will follow care plans, monitor wellbeing and contribute to a safe, respectful environment.

This entry-level role welcomes applicants with or without prior experience and offers full training, ongoing development, and a supportive team in a community-focused care home in north Kent.

Job description

Our service is a hidden gem located in the lovely north Kent countryside and is a purpose-built care home, dedicated to supporting residents in making the most of every day. We provide Nursing, Residential, Dementia & Respite Care for 50-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 36 hours per week, including alternate weekends
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
