Job summary

Sandmere Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, in Margate, Kent, is hiring a Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.

You will help with daily living, follow care plans, and support dignity and independence. Training is provided, and DBS check is paid; uniform supplied; 5.6 weeks' annual leave for full-time staff; starting pay £13.03 per hour.

Job description

A purpose-built care home located in the heart of the Margate community in Kent. Our 68-bed luxury service provides exceptional levels of Residential Care, Nursing Care, Dementia Care, and Respite Care.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.03 per hour
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
