Job summary

jobr.pro is seeking a care assistant to support a young client with Cerebral Palsy living with parents in Leigh. You will provide personal care, assist with bowel management and mobility, and help the client attend college and social activities.

The role includes driving to and from college and activities, promoting independence, and receiving full Nurse Led training. Previous care experience and good communication are desirable; a UK manual driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable.
• Experience supporting a young person is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• UK full manual driving license is essential.
• Full Nurse Led training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the client with personal care and bowel management.
• Assist with mobility and attending college, including driving to and from college and social activities.

Our client enjoys a variety of activities, they are a social young person who lives with parents on site and you will be supporting them to live independently as possible.
