Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group's Complete Care Amegreen is seeking carers to support a young client with Cerebral Palsy in Leigh. You will provide personal care, mobility support, bowel management, and accompany them to college and social activities, including driving to college and social activities.

You must have a UK manual driving license, be ready for flexible day and night shifts, and undergo nurse-led training. DBS check will be completed as part of joining the team.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience desirable.
• Experience supporting a young person desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• UK full manual driving license essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and mobility of the client.
• Support the client during college attendance and social activities.
• Drive the client to and from college and activities.
• Assist the client to live independently as much as possible.

Location: Leigh, must be able to drive manual as will be taking Client to college and social activities.

Pay Rate

£13.00 per hour

Shifts Available

7am to 8pm days and 7.30pm to 8am nights awake

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with Cerebral Palsy, they need support with personal care, bowel management, mobilisations, assisting them whilst attending college, including driving them to and from college and social activities. Our client enjoys a variety of activities, they are a social young person who lives with parents on site and you will be supporting them to live independently as possible.
