Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is seeking compassionate care assistants to support a client with spinal injury at home. You will help with mobility, daily living activities, and social engagement, delivering empathetic companionship and care.

The role emphasizes communication, independence, and patient-centered support within a flexible shift pattern and a supportive family environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Social Care preferred.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities preferred.
• Experience dealing with clients who have communication difficulties or need additional support desired.
• This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with mobility and daily activities.
• Provide personal and social care in the home.
• Support client in outdoor activities and social events.
• Offer companionship and empathetic care to improve wellbeing.

Location: Burleydam, needs a driver due to remote location

Pay Rate: £13.00 to £13.50 hour

Shifts Available: 8am to 8pm days and 8pm to 8am nights awake, rolling rota

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with a spinal injury in their own home to help mobilise around the property, provide personal and social care, help support to enjoy outdoor activities and attend social events, they enjoy a variety of interests and the right person will provide care, empathy and companionship.
