Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is seeking a care worker to support a client with Cerebral Palsy, providing personal care, mobility assistance, and helping with college attendance.

You will accompany the client to college and social activities, including driving them, and help them live as independently as possible; a full manual driving license is essential for this role. Shifts run 7am to 8pm days and 7:30pm to 8am nights awake in Leigh.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable.
• Experience supporting a young person is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• UK full manual driving license is essential.
• Full Nurse Led training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• This role is supporting our client with Cerebral Palsy, including personal care and mobility assistance.
• Assist with attending college and accompanying to social activities, including driving.
• Support independence and daily living to the extent possible.

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with Cerebral Palsy, they need support with personal care, bowel management, mobilisations, assisting them whilst attending college, including driving them to and from college and social activities. Our client enjoys a variety of activities, they are a social young person who lives with parents on site and you will be supporting them to live independently as possible.
