Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist a young client with Cerebral Palsy. You will provide personal care, assist with mobility and daily activities, and accompany the client to college and social activities.

You’ll drive a UK manual car to and from commitments, work across day and night shifts, and receive Nurse Led training. Previous care experience and a full UK manual driving license are essential. Competitive pay and generous benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Support with personal care, bowel management, mobilisations, and assistance while attending college and social activities.
• Drive the client to and from college and social activities.
• Support the client to live as independently as possible.

Company Description

Location: Leigh, must be able to drive manual as will be taking Client to college and social activities.

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Shifts Available: 7am to 8pm days and 7.30pm to 8am nights awake

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with Cerebral Palsy, they need support with personal care, bowel management, mobilisations, assisting them whilst attending college, including driving them to and from college and social activities. Our client enjoys a variety of activities, they are a social young person who lives with parents on site and you will be supporting them to live independently as possible.

Qualifications

Previous care experience is desirable.

Experience supporting a young person is desirable.

Excellent communication skills.

UK full manual driving license is essential.

Full Nurse Led training will be provided.
