Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is hiring a care assistant in Leigh to support a young client with Cerebral Palsy. You will provide personal care, assistance with mobility, and help accompany the client to college and social activities, including driving the client using a UK manual license.

Shifts run from 7am to 8pm days and 7:30pm to 8am nights. Training provided, with benefits including enhanced DBS checks and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable.
• Experience supporting a young person is desirable.
• UK full manual driving license is essential.
• Full Nurse Led training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support for a young client with Cerebral Palsy.
• Assist with bowel management and mobilisations.
• Support client at college and drive to college and social activities.
• Help client live independently as much as possible.

Job description

Location: Leigh, must be able to drive manual as will be taking Client to college and social activities.

Pay Rate:£13.00 per hour

Shifts Available: 7am to 8pm days and 7.30pm to 8am nights awake

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with Cerebral Palsy, they need support with personal care, bowel management, mobilisations, assisting them whilst attending college, including driving them to and from college and social activities. Our client enjoys a variety of activities, they are a social young person who lives with parents on site and you will be supporting them to live independently as possible.

Qualifications
