Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is seeking a caregiver to support a client with Cerebral Palsy in Leigh. You will assist with personal care, mobility, and college transport, providing companionship and helping the client live as independently as possible.

Shifts include days (7am–8pm) and nights (7:30pm–8am awake). A manual driving licence and full nurse-led training will be provided. Competitive benefits and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable.
• Experience supporting a young person is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• UK full manual driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support for a client with Cerebral Palsy.
• Assist with bowel management, mobilisations and daily activities.
• Support attendance at college and accompany to activities by driving.

Pay Rate:£13.00 per hour

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with Cerebral Palsy, they need support with personal care, bowel management, mobilisations, assisting them whilst attending college, including driving them to and from college and social activities. Our client enjoys a variety of activities, they are a social young person who lives with parents on site and you will be supporting them to live independently as possible.

Qualifications

Previous care experience is desirable.

Experience supporting a young person is desirable.

Excellent communication skills.

UK full manual driving license is essential.

Full Nurse Led training will be provided.
