Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is looking for dedicated Care Assistants to join our growing team. Positions available include full-time and part-time roles with varying hours, including day, twilight, and night shifts, to provide essential support to residents. You will engage in personal care, medication support, and promote social interaction with clients.

Opportunities Available

• Care Assistant working 42 hours per week from 8am to 8pm to include alternative weekends
• Care Assistant working 24 hours per week – Twilight working from 4pm to 10pm to include alternative weekends
• Night Care Assistant working 36 hours per week from 8pm to 8am to include alternative weekends
• Bank Care Assistant – for this role you are required to have the flexibility to work day shifts, night shifts and alternative weekends as and when required

Local areas close to Waterloo care home: Ringwood, Ferndown, Verwood, West Moors, Colehill and Parley.

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
• Experience working within a care home

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

• Companionship – Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care – Supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care
• Medication – Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams
• Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages
• Domestic tasks – Light cleaning tasks
• Mobility – Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility
• Social activities – Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home
