Job summary

Ardenlee Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, seeks a Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for residents. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility and nutrition, while maintaining dignity and wellbeing.

Full-time or part-time contracts are available with flexible hours, PVG pension, uniform provided and 5.6 weeks of annual leave. Training and development support will be offered to new and current staff.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience not essential but beneficial.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living support including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to ensure safe, responsive and consistent care.

Job description

Our care home sits in its own grounds with scenic views over the sea, woodland, and gardens, specialising in residential care for 32-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Full time or part time contracts available - Flexible Working Hours & Job Share Considered
• Shift Times: 08:00AM - 20:00PM
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
