Job summary

Garioch Care Home in Inverurie, Scotland, is seeking a Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition, and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued.

Full training and ongoing development are provided, with opportunities to grow within a caring, supportive workplace that values Trust, Respect, and Kindness. This role is based on-site at our purpose-built home.

Our purpose-built care home, surrounded by beautiful gardens, accommodates 37-residents and offers exceptional Residential, Nursing, and Respite care in a serene and nurturing environment

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 33 or 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
