Job summary

Care Assistant role at Crosslaw House Care Home in Lanark, part of Care Concern Group, provides Nursing and Dementia care for residents with compassion and dignity.

You will assist with daily living, follow care plans, support mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, and work in a friendly team, with full training and ongoing development offered.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

Job description

Located in Lanark, South Lanarkshire, our beautiful care home provides Nursing & Dementia care for 45-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to full time or part time hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
