Job summary

Ardenlee Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, in Scotland near Dunoon, is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living and personal care in a warm, home-like environment.

You will follow care plans, assist with mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, and join a supportive team with full training and development. Full-time or part-time hours and flexible scheduling available; PVG pension, uniform provided, and generous leave on offer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living support including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in residents' condition to deliver safe, responsive care.
• Create a warm, supportive environment as part of a team where residents feel valued and respected.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance care delivery.

Our care home sits in its own grounds with scenic views over the sea, woodland, and gardens, specialising in residential care for 32-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Full time or part time contracts available - Flexible Working Hours & Job Share Considered
• Shift Times: 08:00AM - 20:00PM
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
