Quantum Care’s Vesta Lodge in St Albans is seeking a Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred care to our 61-bed home, helping residents with daily living and supporting independence with dignity.

Full training is provided, no prior experience required; you will work shifts across weekdays and weekends, enjoy enhanced weekend pay, and join a values‑driven team dedicated to wellbeing, respect and high-quality care. We Make Every Day Matter.

Contract: Full Time - Perm

Pay: £13.61 per hour weekdays & £14.61 per hour weekends

Shift Times: 7.30am to 2.30pm/2.30pm to 9.30pm - Weekdays and alternative Weekends

We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our welcoming Care Home Vesta Lodgebased in St Albans. Vesta Lodge is a 61 bed residential care home which is welcoming, values driven based team where collaboration, compassion, respect and person-centred care is at the heart of everything they do.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You’ll Bring

• It is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because, as long as you are an empathetic individual who has a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
• You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications.
• Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365-day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.
