Job summary

Agincare is hiring a Care Assistant at The Coombs in Coleford. A rewarding role for care professionals, with 36 hours per week and alternate weekends. You may be new to care or seeking a change from hospitality and retail.

Benefits include £12.91 per hour, fully funded training up to QCF level 5, company pension, refer a friend up to £1000, and on demand pay. Experience preferred, flexible to work 6- and 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
• There is 1 full time position available, working 36 hours per week, to include alternate weekends.
• Must be flexible to work 6 hour and 12 hour shifts.
• Experience in care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
• Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and helping with dressing and oral care.
• Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.

A day in the life of a Care Assistant
