Job summary

Manor Grange Care Home in Edinburgh is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and emotional wellbeing. The role is open to both experienced carers and newcomers, with training and development provided.

Manor Grange Care Home is a purpose built 83 bed care home located in the Pinkhill area of Edinburgh, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite and Palliative care. The home offers a well established and supportive environment where team members can deliver high quality, person centred care as part of a professional and dedicated team.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Full time and part time contracts available
• Dayshift & Nightshift Available
• Paid PVG, pension and SSSC registration covered
• Uniform provided, onsite parking
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
