Job summary

Care Concern Group via Ardenlee Care Home is seeking a Care Assistant to deliver high quality, person-centred care. You will support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition while upholding dignity and wellbeing at all times.

Full time or part time contracts are available with flexible hours and job share considered. Shift times run 08:00–20:00, with uniform provided and PVG checked you’ll be paid at £13.60 per hour plus 5.6 weeks annual leave.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and respectful approach is essential.
• Good communication and teamwork skills required.
• Willingness to learn and develop; previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to support safe, responsive care.

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
