Job summary

Springvale Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, in Lennoxtown, Scotland, is hiring a Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred support for our residents. This role focuses on dignity, independence and wellbeing, including help with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, following care plans and monitoring changes in condition.

You'll join a supportive team in a warm environment where relationships matter.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and develop; training provided.
• Previous experience beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to ensure safe, responsive care.
• Contribute to a warm, respectful environment within a supportive team.
• Assist in maintaining dignity and independence for residents.

Job description

Our luxury care home based in Lennoxtown, delivering the highest levels of Residential, Dementia, Respite & Nursing care for 96-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to up to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
