Job summary

Care Concern Group in Lanark is seeking a Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents with nursing and dementia needs. The role supports daily living, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, following care plans to ensure safety and comfort.

Ideal candidates are caring, reliable and collaborative, with a willingness to learn. Training and development are provided, with opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

Job description

Located in Lanark, South Lanarkshire, our beautiful care home provides Nursing & Dementia care for 45-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to full time or part time hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
