Job summary

Agincare is hiring a Home Care Assistant in Brighton to support clients with daily routines, personal care and companionship. You will help with shopping, meals and medication in clients' homes, delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

The role requires at least 6 months of care work experience, a warm and compassionate approach, and a valid UK driving licence. Weekend availability and a commitment to ongoing training are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months care work experience required.
• Warm, caring and compassionate approach to supporting others.
• Strong people skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Supportive, professional and team-focused mindset.
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (sponsorship not offered).
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily routines, including household tasks and personal care.
• Help with shopping, prepare nutritious meals and make a comforting cup of tea.
• Provide companionship, a listening ear and friendly conversation.
• Assist with medication as needed.
