Job summary

Komplex Care in Atherton is seeking a Paediatric Care Assistant to support a child with lifelong clinical needs at home. The role involves 30 hours per week across Wednesday to Friday, with 10-hour day shifts, under nurse-led supervision and detailed clinical care plans.

Your Role as a Care Assistant

You’ll join a dedicated, nurse-led team providing hands‑on care for individuals with lifelong and potentially life‑critical clinical needs. This is NOT standard domiciliary care. You’ll follow detailed clinical care plans, monitor changes in the individual’s condition and perform the specialist interventions needed to keep them safe, stable and comfortable at home. Your responsibilities may include: Providing personal care, medication and clinical interventionsManaging tracheostomies, ventilation and specialist equipmentMonitoring clinical observations and recognising deteriorationMaintaining accurate records and escalating concerns immediately
