Job summary

Kings Park Care Home in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking a Care Assistant to make a real difference in residents’ lives. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care, supporting dignity, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.

This open role welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training, ongoing development and a supportive team to help you grow in your career at Kings Park.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.45 - £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
