Job summary

St James’ Park Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is a 31-bed home near Bridport, Dorset, delivering residential and nursing care in a warm, person‑centred environment where colleagues work together to make a real difference.

As a Care Assistant you will support daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, follow care plans, notice changes in condition and help keep residents safe, comfortable and respected. Full training and ongoing development are provided.

About St James’ Park Care Home

St James’ Park Care Home is a 31 bed care home located in the charming village of Bradpole, near Bridport in Dorset. Providing residential and nursing care, the home offers a warm and welcoming environment where colleagues work together to deliver high quality, person centred care and make a real difference to the lives of Residents every day.

Care Assistant Contract
  • £13.15 to £13.95 per hour
  • Contracted to 33 or 44 hours per week
  • Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
