Job summary

Parkfield Care Home in Hillingdon, West London, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care. The role covers personal care, mobility, nutrition and wellbeing, with full training and ongoing development offered.

You will follow care plans, monitor changes in residents’ conditions and work within a supportive team to create a warm, respectful environment where residents feel valued.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills expected.
• Reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, mobility assistance and support daily living activities.

Job description

Parkfield House Nursing Home is an elegant, listed home in the quiet residential area of Hillingdon, West London. With 39 uniquely charming bedrooms spread over three floors, the home combines comfort and character in a thoughtfully refurbished setting that offers high-quality nursing care.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.32 per hour
• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
