Job summary

The Wrekin Housing Group Limited is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for Norton Avenue, Stoke-on-Trent. This part-time, permanent role offers 30 hours per week at £13.79 per hour.

You will assist residents with daily living, meals, mobility, medication, and social activities within a caring community. Applicants must demonstrate empathy, reliability, and communication skills; an Enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily living support including meals, shopping, appointments and social engagement.
  • Administer medications and assist with domestic tasks as required.
  • Support individuals with learning and physical disabilities in a residential setting.
  • Contribute to a warm, engaging environment and promote residents' dignity and independence.

Here at Norton Avenue, which is rated ‘’Good’’ by CQC, we support 6 individuals with learning disabilities within their own homes . We support with all aspects of daily living including preparing meals, financial support , social engagement, shopping support , appointments and activity support , as well as administering medication and domestic support .
