Job summary

Wrekin Housing Group is hiring a part-time Support Worker for Norton Avenue in Stanfields, Stoke-on-Trent. You will provide care and assistance to residents with learning and physical disabilities, supporting meals, finances, social activities and appointments, in a warm, respectful environment.

The role requires 30 hours per week with Enhanced DBS checks and a focus on safety, dignity and person-centered support. Training, development, and employee benefits are included as part of the package.

Responsibilities

• Support 6 individuals with learning disabilities in their homes with daily living activities such as meals, shopping, appointments and social engagement.
• Administer medications and provide domestic support as part of personalised care.
• Deliver care with empathy, dignity, respect and integrity while promoting a positive environment.

Here at Norton Avenue, which is rated ‘’Good’’ by CQC, we support 6 individuals with learning disabilities within their own homes. We support with all aspects of daily living including preparing meals, financial support, social engagement, shopping support, appointments and activity support, as well as administering medication and domestic support.
