Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a capable administrator to support cardiovascular research projects, handling data entry and trial documentation, and coordinating with Research Nurses and other staff. You will contribute to complex data management and ensure accurate case report form submissions while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity in a busy research setting.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education with A Levels at grade C or above.
• Literate, articulate and numerate.
• Strong IT skills and experience with MS Office.
• Confidentiality and accuracy in handling trial data.

Responsibilities

• Complex data entry, and general research administration for allocated clinical trials.
• Submission of documentation to MREC, LREC and R&D as appropriate.
• Liaise with research staff to ensure safe conduct of clinical trials.
• Work with the Cardiovascular Research Support Team to co-ordinate trials.
• Maintain accurate trial databases and paper files; submit case report forms.
• Ensure trials meet ICH GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with project work with the Department.
• Coordinate with trial coordinators to set up and run trials.
• Uphold confidentiality and professional standards.
