Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Data Management Assistant within the Research & Development Directorate at Royal Bournemouth Hospital/Poole Hospital. The role supports clinical trials data management, maintains site files, and ensures accurate data entry into CRFs and IT systems.

The post is fixed-term for 12 months with potential progression to Band 3 on completion of required competencies. Base location is Royal Bournemouth Hospital/Poole Hospital, Bournemouth.

Qualifications

• Experience in the collection and collation of clinical data.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Familiarity with a variety of web based platforms.
• Familiarity with creating and using spreadsheets such as Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical trials data in line with ICH GCP standards.
• Maintain site files and accurately enter data into case report forms and IT systems.
• Collaborate with patients, research teams, hospital departments, other NHS Trusts, commercial and academic partners.
