Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking an Assistant Technical Officer in Clinical Physiology to join the Cardiology service at University Hospital Crosshouse, Ayrshire. You will work within a progressive multidisciplinary department to support patient care.

The 30-hour role, permanent, involves providing a 12 Lead ECG service, spirometry, 24-hour ambulatory ECG, BP setup/removal and resting Doppler measurements, with in-house training provided and driving licence desirable.

Qualifications

• ECG, spirometry, and blood pressure measurements in a clinical setting.
• Experience with Ambulatory ECG and Doppler is advantageous.
• In-house training will be provided to develop role-specific IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a 12 Lead ECG service for in-patients and out-patients across departments.
• Perform spirometry, 24-hour ambulatory ECG, BP setup/removal, and resting Doppler measurements.
• Utilise hospital IT systems and maintain patient care in a safe, respectful environment.
