Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking an Assistant Technical Officer in Clinical Physiology to deliver Cardiology services at University Hospital Crosshouse. The post involves providing a comprehensive 12 Lead ECG service for in-patients and out-patients, with responsibilities spanning spirometry and ambulatory ECG monitoring.

Qualifications

• 12 Lead ECG service for in-patients and out-patients across Departments.
• Spirometry, 24 Hour Ambulatory ECG, blood pressure setup/removal and resting Doppler measurements.
• Basic understanding of an ECG is essential; in-house training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform 12 Lead ECGs for in-patients and out-patients.
• Conduct Spirometry and 24 Hour Ambulatory ECG monitoring.
• Set up and remove blood pressure monitoring and resting Doppler measurements.
