Job summary

ASI Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Car Sales Manager for an independent dealership in Cranleigh, Surrey. You will lead a small team of Sales Executives, drive vehicle and finance sales, and ensure a smooth journey from arrival to sale with exceptional customer service.

The role requires a proven car sales background, strong leadership, and a track record of hitting targets. Basic £40,000 with OTE £60,000+, company car, 5-day week, 9am–6pm, no Sundays, and 20 days’ holiday plus bank

Monday to Saturday 9am - 6pm - 5 Days - No Sundays!

Basic Salary: £40,000 | OTE: £60,000+ | Company Car

We are working on behalf of an established independent car sales business in the Cranleigh area that is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, commercially minded Sales Manager to lead its sales operation and take the business to the next level.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced automotive sales professional who thrives on leading a team, driving performance and delivering exceptional customer service.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the dealership's sales operation, leading a small team of Sales Executives and ensuring the smooth journey of every vehicle from arrival through to sale.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, motivating and developing a small team of Sales Executives.
• Managing and monitoring sales performance to achieve and exceed targets.
• Driving both vehicle sales and finance performance.
• Overseeing stock from arrival through preparation and ultimately to sale.
• Coordinating and managing the valeting and driver teams.
• Ensuring vehicles are presented to the highest possible standards.
• Maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and overall dealership performance.
• Identifying opportunities to maximise sales, profitability and business growth.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from experienced automotive Sales Managers or strong Sales Executives ready to take that next step into management.

You’ll ideally have:

• A proven background in car sales, ideally within an independent dealership.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• A track record of achieving sales targets and driving results.
