Job summary

CCA Recruitment Group in Gloucester seeks a Car Sales Manager to lead a fast-paced used car operation. You will own store performance, customer experience and profitability while developing a high-performing team.

You’ll head up a team of Sales Controllers and Executives, coach performance, drive results and ensure an exceptional buying journey for every customer. A hands-on leader with automotive sales experience is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience as a Car Sales Manager.
• Proven track record delivering sales results.
• Experience leading and developing sales teams.
• Knowledge of PCP/HP finance products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of up to 14 sales executives and controllers.
• Run daily briefings and drive sales performance.
• Coach through one-to-ones, training and side-by-side support.
• Manage finance deals, compliance and FCA standards.
• Oversee store operations and customer satisfaction.
• Own targets, profitability and customer experience scores.
• Support customers and help close deals when needed.

We're recruiting for a Car Sales Manager to lead one of the UK's fastest-growing used car retail businesses. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of store performance, customer experience, profitability and team development.

You’ll lead a team of Sales Controllers and Sales Executives, drive results, coach performance and ensure every customer enjoys an exceptional buying experience.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Car Sales Manager

• * Leading, motivating and developing a team of up to 14 sales executives and sales controllers
• * Running daily team briefings and driving sales performance
• * Coaching colleagues through one-to-ones, training and side-by-side support
• * Managing finance deals, compliance and FCA standards
• * Overseeing store operations and customer satisfaction
• * Taking ownership of targets, profitability and customer experience scores
• * Supporting customers through their buying journey and helping close deals when needed

What We’re Looking For as a Car Sales Manager

• * At least 2 years' experience as a Car Sales Manager
• * Strong track record of delivering sales results
• * Experience managing and developing successful sales teams
• * Knowledge of finance products such as PCP and HP
• * Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• * Full UK Driving Licence
• * Must have car sales experience, particularly within used cars, independents or car supermarkets

Dealership opening hours:

• * Monday to Thursday: 9am - 7pm
• * Friday: 9am - 8pm
• * Saturday: 9am - 6pm
• * Sunday: 10am - 5pm
