Perfect Placement is recruiting for a well-established dealer group in Epsom for a Car Sales Manager to lead a dynamic dealership team and drive franchise growth.

The role offers a competitive basic salary of £40,000 to £50,000 with an OTE of up to £80,000, plus a five-day working week, Sundays 10am–4pm rota with time off in lieu, and a modern showroom with strong professional development support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Car Sales Manager within the motor trade.

Responsibilities

• Manage both new and used car sales departments to optimise profitability.
• Source used car stock actively through dealer transfers and consignments.
• Oversee used car preparation, photography, and advertising to ensure quality presentation.
• Provide accurate finance quotations and assist customers through the sales process.
• Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve targets and improve performance.
• Monitor stock levels, including new and used vehicles, and manage dealer transfers.
• Enhance franchise growth via strategic sales initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures.
• Support the sales team throughout the customer journey, from initial contact to deal closure.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and ensure exceptional service.
