Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Newport seeks an experienced New Car Sales Manager to lead a 3–4 person team and drive performance in a multi-franchise dealership.

You will develop sales strategies, deliver excellent customer service, organise events, and ensure data integrity while meeting targets. The role offers a £40,000 basic salary with uncapped on-target earnings of £60,000+, a company car, 30 days leave and ongoing training.

Our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership in Newport, is seeking an experienced New Car Sales Manager to lead their sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to drive performance and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction within a well-established dealership.

Benefits of the Car Sales Manager:

• Starting basic salary of £40,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
• Uncapped on-target earnings of £60,000+ per year, based on department performance

One late shift per week; no Sundays, except during March and September

Duties of the Car Sales Manager:

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of 3 to 4 New Car Sales Executives and a Business Manager
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets
• Champion outstanding customer service, fostering high satisfaction levels and repeat business
• Organise and execute sales events and campaigns to generate commercial growth
• Monitor market trends and customer feedback to adapt sales approaches
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate customer data management
• Ensure compliance with all dealership policies and manufacturer standards
• Lead by example, maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer engagement

Requirements of the Car Sales Manager:

• Previous experience at a Sales Manager level within a small to medium-sized franchise-approved dealership is advantageous
• Alternatively, proven experience as a Sales Executive or Business Manager seeking career progression
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Excellent customer service and organisational abilities
• A valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and developing high-performing teams
