Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking an experienced Car Sales Executive in Cardiff to join a reputable main dealership specialising in VAG brands. The role offers a base salary and uncapped on-target earnings with a personal company car.

You will drive new and used car sales and build lasting customer relationships in a multi-franchise dealer group. The candidate will have current or recent main dealership sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with clean record.
• Willingness to cover weekend hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Sell new and used cars and related products to customers.
• Aim to achieve and exceed individual sales targets.
• Keep customers informed about delivery progress and delays.
• Explain warranty terms and service arrangements to customers.
• Assist customers through handover and payment collection.
• Introduce customers to the Service Department and post-sale support.
• Develop long-term client relationships through high service standards.

We are seeking an experienced Car Sales Executive to join a reputable main dealership in Cardiff, specialising in VAG brands. Duties of the Car Sales Executive:

• Sell new and used cars, accessories, finance products, warranties, and related services
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets
• Keep customers informed about delivery progress and address any delays
• Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally
• Collect payments and ensure smooth handover of vehicles
• Explain warranty terms and service arrangements
• Introduce customers to the Service Department team
• Demonstrate vehicle features and support customer onboarding
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and develop long-term client relationships

Requirements of the Car Sales Executive:

• Recent or current experience in main dealership as a Car Sales Executive, specifically in new and used vehicle sales
• Strong focus on achieving sales results and delivering excellent customer service
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and seek out every sales opportunity
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points
• Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Cardiff

The working hours are 8:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a scheduled day off in the week and alternate weekends off. Saturday hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Sunday hours are 11:00am to 4:30pm.
