Pertemps Birmingham Industrial is seeking a Car Parts Sales Advisor in Birmingham. The role asks for experience in automotive parts, with duties including serving trade and retail customers, providing product advice, and promoting offers.

The position is a temp-to-perm, offering training and a pathway to a permanent role within a growing automotive parts business. Salary is £13.00 per hour and Saturday work is required on a rotating basis.

• Processing orders accurately using the POS system and ensuring timely fulfillment.
• Maintaining stock presentation and branch housekeeping.
• Collaborating with warehouse and branch team to meet sales targets.

Car Parts Sales Advisor

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Car Parts Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the automotive parts industry who enjoys building relationships with trade and retail customers, providing expert product advice, and delivering outstanding customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Serving trade and retail customers at the counter, over the phone, and via email.


• Identifying customer requirements and supplying the correct automotive parts and accessories using electronic parts catalogues.


• Building strong relationships with local garages, workshops, and regular trade customers.


• Maximising sales opportunities through product recommendations, upselling, and promoting current offers.


• Processing orders accurately using the point-of-sale system and ensuring efficient order fulfilment.


• Maintaining high standards of stock presentation, merchandising, and branch housekeeping.


• Working closely with the warehouse and wider branch team to ensure excellent customer service and achieve branch sales targets.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a trade counter, motor factor, automotive parts, or vehicle dealership parts department is highly desirable.


• Good knowledge of automotive parts and the ability to identify the correct components for customers.


• A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and achieving sales targets.


• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both trade and retail customers.


• Availability to work one Saturday in every three.
