Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Parts Advisor in St Albans, Hertfordshire. You will supply parts to workshop, trade and retail customers, identify and order the correct automotive parts, and handle enquiries efficiently.

The role involves stock checks, keeping accurate records, and collaborating with service colleagues to drive parts sales. A strong customer focus, good IT and organisational skills, and a valid UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the automotive industry.
• Good knowledge of automotive parts and Parts Department operations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good organisational and IT skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supply parts to the workshop, trade and retail customers.
• Identify and order the correct automotive parts.
• Process customer and workshop parts enquiries efficiently.
• Receive, check and organise incoming stock.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and parts records.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and Vehicle Technicians.
• Deliver excellent customer service while supporting Parts Department sales.
