Powys County Council is leading a strategic review of its off-street car parks. You will analyse operational, financial and usage data, engage with communities and stakeholders, and develop evidence-based options and business cases for future decisions on management and investment.

The role requires strong analytical skills, project management, and the ability to communicate findings to senior officers and decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex information.
• Excellent project management, organisational and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to present to senior officers.
• Experience of engaging with communities, businesses, elected members and partners.

Responsabilités

• Lead a comprehensive review of the off-street car park portfolio including usage, occupancy, income, costs, operations and asset condition.
• Gather, analyse and benchmark data to assess current performance and opportunities for improvement.
• Plan and deliver community and stakeholder consultation with Town/Community Councils, businesses and residents.
• Develop options appraisals and business cases covering future management and investment.
• Prepare reports, presentations and recommendations for senior officers and committees.
• Monitor delivery, identify funding opportunities and ensure compliance with legislation and policies.
