RGB Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Project Manager for Exeter to lead major capital projects and strategic programmes. You will provide strategic direction, commercial leadership, and senior-level stakeholder management across multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates bring extensive pre-construction expertise, NEC contract management experience, and a track record of delivering high-value infrastructure programmes in contractor, consultancy, or client-side environments.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering major infrastructure, utilities or engineering programmes.
• Extensive pre-construction expertise including business cases, design development, procurement and delivery strategy.
• Advanced NEC contract management and commercial leadership experience.
• Demonstrable success managing complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong leadership capability with experience developing and mentoring project teams.
• Experience presenting to senior executives, governance boards and client leadership teams.
• Ability to influence investment and delivery decisions.
• Background within contractor, consultancy or client-side capital delivery organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead major capital projects and programmes.
• Take overall accountability for project performance, governance and outcomes.
• Manage substantial budgets and investment portfolios.
• Lead NEC commercial strategy and contract administration.
• Direct multidisciplinary delivery teams and supply chain partners.
• Oversee programme forecasting and performance reporting.
• Manage strategic risks and key stakeholder relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
• Mentor and develop project management capability across the wider team.
