Job summary

St Teresa's is seeking a Campus Safety and Student Support Officer to be a friendly, proactive presence on campus. The role blends campus safety, learner support and behaviour guidance to help create a positive learning environment.

You will build relationships with learners, patrol the campus, de-escalate conflicts and assist with safeguarding processes. This is a hybrid role with full-time hours and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, behaviour support, youth work or similar public-facing role with incident response.
• Clear communication skills and ability to set boundaries with learners.
• Willingness to complete safeguarding training and follow reporting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with learners and maintain a visible presence across campus.
• Patrol campus buildings and grounds to support security and access control.
• Promote safe, respectful environment and intervene early to support behaviour.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies with calm, clear communication.
• Support learner wellbeing and safeguarding, escalating concerns when needed.
• Assist with learner interventions, incident recording and follow-up actions.
