Job summary

All Saints Catholic College in Huddersfield is seeking a Safeguarding Support Officer to work under the guidance of the Designated Safeguarding Lead. You will collaborate with the Safeguarding Manager, College staff and external agencies to deliver key outcomes for students through integrated support services.

The role requires the ability to work flexibly, build strong relationships with students and staff, and to support students with emotional and social needs including mental health.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in a school environment.
• Experience of supporting students and families with emotional and social needs including mental health.

Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of the Designated Safeguarding Lead to support students and deliver integrated safeguarding services.
• Collaborate with the Safeguarding Manager, College staff and external agencies to promote the welfare of students and ensure safeguarding best practice.
