Job summary

eTeach UK Limited is recruiting a part-time Safeguarding Officer to support students and vulnerable adults across campus life. The role focuses on safeguarding responses, risk minimisation and promoting student welfare with a restorative, student-centred approach.

You will join the Student Life team, engage with curriculum colleagues, and help maintain a strong safeguarding culture informed by Ofsted judgments.

Qualifications

• Level 2 safeguarding trained.
• NVQ 3 or equivalent safeguarding qualification.
• Recent experience as a designated safeguarding officer.
• Experience with vulnerable groups in an educational setting.
• Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of students with safeguarding concerns.
• Build supportive relationships with vulnerable learners.
• Record work accurately on the CPOMS system.
• Provide supervision to designated safeguarding officers in departments.
• Monitor and review support for vulnerable students and provide information as required.
• Plan and deliver staff safeguarding training across teams.
• Monitor referrals on campus and ensure compliant processes.
• Act as a point of contact for external agencies and attend external meetings.

Education
