Job summary

UPP Ltd is seeking a Residence Manager to lead day-to-day operations at Eleanor Rosa House Halls of Residence in London Stratford. The role requires coordinating soft services, staff performance and maintaining high SLA standards, while ensuring a safe, welcoming student living environment.

The successful candidate will supervise multiple teams, monitor maintenance schedules, ensure statutory compliance, and handle escalated enquiries.

Qualifications

• Excellent people skills with demonstrable experience managing multi-discipline teams in hospitality, facilities management or residential environments.
• Knowledge of financial management and reporting, health and safety legislation, and statutory H&S testing.
• Experience in long-term planning and day-to-day operations oversight.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with residents, delegates, contractors and visitors in a professional manner.
• Promote a culture of customer service excellence within the team.
• Manage enquiries and complaints, escalating as necessary.
• Supervise, recruit, induct, train and appraise staff in Maintenance, Out of Hours Facilities Team and Residence Supervisor; monitor performance and training records.
