Job summary

GEDU Global Education is seeking an IT Technician to ensure students and staff can work and learn without interruption. You will provide on-site support, install operating systems, configure devices and troubleshoot across campus IT services.

The role focuses on secure, timely assistance, record-keeping and adherence to ITIL practices. A Bachelor's degree is required with hands-on experience in a busy education environment.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of network security and data privacy principles.
• Hands-on installation of operating systems, software and drivers.
• Experience providing IT support in person and remotely.
• Familiarity with IT service management and ITIL best practices.
• Understanding of Windows-based systems and enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, face-to-face IT services on campus.
• Set up and configure PC/laptop equipment with OS and software.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate as needed per guidelines.
• Maintain logs of loan equipment, repairs and maintenance.
• Follow security and privacy best practices for networks.
