Job summary

Tesco Cafes in the United Kingdom are seeking a Team Member to join our busy cafe team. You will be involved in cooking and serving food, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering excellent customer service across a fast-paced environment.

You will support with deliveries, stock checks, and daily records while staying compliant with health and safety policies. Flexible hours and progression opportunities are offered within a friendly, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations and keep daily records.
• Practise FIFO stock rotation to keep food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and store food safely.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the menu.
• Maintain standards and ensure all food is available.
• Assist in keeping equipment and tables clean and tidy.
• Support Caf Manager and pass on customer feedback.
• Be adaptable, proactive and able to multitask in a busy cafe environment.
