Job summary

Tesco Cafes in the United Kingdom is looking for a friendly Team Member to join our caf. You’ll help with cooking, serve customers and keep the dining area and kitchen clean, ensuring every task meets safety standards.

With flexible hours and opportunities for progression, you’ll be part of a busy team that delivers great service every day. The role starts from 8 hours per week and we schedule shifts with notice, so you can plan around your life.

Qualifications

• Commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
• The ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Practise FIFO stock rotation to keep food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
• Know and follow all operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the cafe menu.
• Clear and sanitise tables to keep the cafe clean.
