Job summary

Tesco Cafes are hiring a Team Member to join a fast-paced café team. You’ll be involved in cooking, serving customers, and ensuring every dish meets safety standards while keeping the cafe clean and welcoming.

We offer flexible hours, opportunities for progression, and a minimum of 8 guaranteed hours per week. You’ll work in a lively environment with a strong customer service focus and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Practice FIFO stock rotation to keep our food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and handle safe storage of food.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the menu.
