Job description

• Coordinate the entire operation of the Cafe during scheduled shifts.
• Ensure that the client expectations of hot drinks, food and food service are consistently delivered in line with the Vacherin brand.
• Understand milk texturing, brew ratios and extraction and be able to produce latte art patterns and keep the quality of the espresso extracted to a high standard.
• Multi-tasking, cleaning, and tidying work areas, always maintaining a presentable preparation area.
• Provide training and feedback to any member of staff ensuring that all team members are aware of Vacherin standards and requirements and carry out their jobs to the best of their ability in a timely and efficient manner.
• Actively gain customer feedback and to use the information to improve the food and service offering.
• Act as the first point of reference for all customer comments and concerns and take any necessary action.
• Check stock levels and order supplies.
• Keep up to date with all COSHH and HACCP procedures and methods.
• Report any equipment and/or building fabric faults and any hygiene, health and safety hazard to the relevant parties on site and in Vacherin.
• Be a team player, work with colleagues, and help to support other areas of the business when needed under the guidance of the line manager.
